| Aroma | A light, fresh, and exquisitely sweet aroma. It is famously compared to freshly sliced green apples or warm honey. It has a delicate floral heart with a soft, herbaceous-leafy undertone, making it much brighter and "prettier" than the heavy, earthy scent of German Chamomile |

| Do you know? | Despite its name, Roman Chamomile wasn't actually cultivated in Rome until the 16th century. It was "discovered" by a botanist growing wild near the Coliseum, who then gave it the name we use today. It was also one of the "Nine Sacred Herbs" mentioned in ancient Anglo-Saxon texts. |

| Contraindication | Generally considered one of the safest oils for children and the elderly when properly diluted. However, as a member of the Asteraceae (daisy) family, those with severe ragweed or daisy allergies should perform a patch test first |
